About

Yoga Mandir was established in the year 1989 by Yoga Ratna Dr. S.N. Omkar, a well-known
yoga exponent, yoga practitioner, yoga researcher, yoga guru and therapist. Yoga Mandir is a
charitable trust, whose main objective is to promote yoga as an effective means to foster good health. Development of a unique Program called SURYA (Student Upliftment and
Rejuvenation through Yoga) based on the principles as articulated by Sage Patanjali is
notable. The concept of setting camp for every activity is a brilliant idea as many people will
be aware and can attend the camp.

More than 300 Happy travellers

"Stayed at the amazing Jungle Wood Resort in Coorg, literally in the middle of a Jungle. The house is a 200 year old house managed by a family who has been running this for years. The silence, peace and 'no phone service' makes you feel so connected to the nature. Highly recommended if you just wanna run away! Huge shoutout to @townista. This was my first #TownistaTrip. Brilliantly arranged and such a hassle free experience. Much recommended if you are planning your next trip."
