Being born to a music loving family with an Indian Classical singing mother, music has always been his comfort, inspiration, passion & first love. He spent his early years of his childhood listening to his mother’s voice and the many records his father’s travels brought home topped with his grandfather’s collection of spool tapes.
His primary aesthetic influences are Indian, African & Folk music but his collection and tastes range from Soulful, Deep, Electronic and border on Quirky Experimentation.
UNNAYANAA’s sound is all of this and what manifests from what he calls “Sonic Attunement”. His existence in this lifetime has been narrowed down over the years purely for music and his only aim is to connect with his audiences through this state of existence.
He connects with the outflow of other artists in this parallel state and shares their love for creative freedom by engaging in other forms of artistic expression.

His rare uploads and pick as #1 Indian producer to watch out for in 2013 have cemented his uprising as the world waits with bated breath for his debut EP. Straddling hip-hop, electronica, footwork, drum and bass and anything in between there’s no limit to what a _RHL show can or cannot do.
"Stayed at the amazing Jungle Wood Resort in Coorg, literally in the middle of a Jungle. The house is a 200 year old house managed by a family who has been running this for years. The silence, peace and 'no phone service' makes you feel so connected to the nature. Highly recommended if you just wanna run away! Huge shoutout to @townista. This was my first #TownistaTrip. Brilliantly arranged and such a hassle free experience. Much recommended if you are planning your next trip."
"It really saved me time and effort. Had amazing time with my friends. Much needed break."
"Loved Townista package. Everything was perfectly arranged. Felt personal."
