A passionate Electronic Music fanatic for over 8 years now, Rishi Sippy, 25, has been one of the few artists to push the
underground music experience in the silicon city. Born and brought up in Bangalore, he has chosen to devote his life to music, giving up his career in advertising and solely focusing on building his career as a music artist; educating his city with the not-so-popular side of electronic music and has now also begun to dip his hand into the ocean of music production as well.
One half of Technomads and co founder of ModeM Networks, Rishi is a true pusher of the local underground electronic music scene. He is an artist who knows what he loves and loves what he plays. Constantly evolving, his sets are of smooth, moody, deep productions with melancholic tones backed by crisp grooves and throbbing bass lines.
He is heavily influenced by the likes of Minilogue, Tale of Us, Paul Kalkbrenner, Maceo Plex and Kohra to name a few and
has also shared the stage with internatonal artsts such as Dubfire, John Digweed, Monoloc, Simon Posford, Henry Saiz, Guy J and Umek, as well as Indian stalwarts like Arjun Vagale, Kohra, Anil Chawla Ash Roy and Audio Units, to name a few.
