Savandurga (the Fort of Death in Kannada) is considered as one of the largest monolith hills in the entire world, which means that the Savandurga hill is composed entirely of only one rock with a height of about 1226 metres above sea level and 52 km from the West of Bangalore off the Magadi road. It has two minor hills namely Karigudda (Black Hill) and Billigudda (White Hill) which collectively comprises the Savandurga hill.
