What we like

If you find solace and tranquillity in waterfalls, then it’s a must visit place for you. Sangam- Mekedatu is an ideal place for peace lovers.

  • Well known for beautiful birds
  • Plenty of artistic rock formations

Mekedatu situated about 90 km from Bangalore means goat’s leap in Kannada. It is located along the river Kaveri in Kanakapura Taluk while Sangam is the place where Arkavati merges with Kaveri (Cauvery). The river Kaveri flows 3.5 km downstream so narrow that one would think a goat can leap across it.

More than 300 Happy travellers

"Stayed at the amazing Jungle Wood Resort in Coorg, literally in the middle of a Jungle. The house is a 200 year old house managed by a family who has been running this for years. The silence, peace and 'no phone service' makes you feel so connected to the nature. Highly recommended if you just wanna run away! Huge shoutout to @townista. This was my first #TownistaTrip. Brilliantly arranged and such a hassle free experience. Much recommended if you are planning your next trip."
