Built in 1754 with sandstone and marble, Safdarjung Tomb is the mausoleum of the statesman and the Prime Minister of Ahmed Shah Bahadur. Designed as an enclosed tomb garden, the white domed and arched reddish-brown edifice makes a grand impression in the eyes of the beholder. The inner walls are adorned with ornate plaster carvings. The garden is luxuriant with flora and the pristine water channels provide a spectacular environment for an inspirational photowalk.
