  • City Mystery
  • City History

The aim of this tour is to give you a power packed high-speed download on the roots of Bengaluru wherein we touch one place after the other every 30 minutes. Mixed in is a bit of eating, lots of stories, and lots of mystery! Our morning starts at the famous Bugle Rock. Here we climb up the watch tower that dates back to the days of Kempe Gowda, who gets due credit of starting this city. Here I shall discuss with you about how he came up with the idea of setting up another city as we breathe in the fresh morning air. You can't help but wonder how Bengaluru would have looked from this vantage point back in those days. Since we will be discussing Kempe Gowda we will move on to the adjacent Nandi Temple which was also built by him.

A garden that was ordered by Hyder Ali and completed by Tipu Sultan. I'll talk to you about the temple atop the stony hill, the bonsai garden, and the inspiration behind the flora! We will then move to Kempe Gowda's fort and Tipu Sultan's fort where again I'll spend time talking about the stories and histories of these places.

Starting from Rs 150 per person for 2 days, 1 night with cab and accommodation

More than 300 Happy travellers

"Stayed at the amazing Jungle Wood Resort in Coorg, literally in the middle of a Jungle. The house is a 200 year old house managed by a family who has been running this for years. The silence, peace and 'no phone service' makes you feel so connected to the nature. Highly recommended if you just wanna run away! Huge shoutout to @townista. This was my first #TownistaTrip. Brilliantly arranged and such a hassle free experience. Much recommended if you are planning your next trip."
