Banyan Tree initiated the annual Barkha Ritu festival in the year 2002 in Mumbai, since then this festival has given music lovers across India a rich cultural experience of the monsoon ragas. Now, in its 14th year, Barkha Ritu is the only national thematic classical music festival presenting the beauty of the monsoons in a musical interpretation.
