Join us for PRINT & PATTERN, an ExperTalk + workshop on hand block printing with artist and art educator, Pooja Gokul. Pooja will talk about the origins and process of hand block printing in India, including how the blocks are made and the social symbolism of different motifs. This will be followed by a hands-on workshop where you'll learn the technique of block printing on paper and cloth.

Bring your own cotton fabric, in white or a light pastel shade. It can be anything, from a T-shirt or kurti to napkins and pillow cases. All other materials will be provided.
