Continuing our series of walks through Kempe Gowda's Pettah area, we now offer you our fourth walk in this part of Bengaluru. On this edition of our walk, we take you to the famous temple associated with the Karaga rituals as well tell you more about the famous Devanga community who weave silk sarees on the power-looms in Cubbonpet. On the way we take you to a 'jhatka' stand to transport you into a time when there were no vehicles in our town. If time permits, we will also be visiting a few other smaller temples too. In between the bytes of history, we also catch up on some bites of Damrot & other sweetmeats and savories from a legendary stall in this locality.

The grand finale is shopping for greens in Cubbonpet in a market which has been earmarked by BBMP for modernization.

So if you are free this weekend, put on your walking shoes and let us take you on a walk through the Pettah, like no one else does.

Do pass the word to your friends too.
