Nishani Motte also called as Nishani Betta is a striking peak in the Talacauvery/ Brahmagiri range, Coorg belonging to the Western Ghats, a world heritage centre. The word Nishani means the Mark and Motte mean hill in Kodava language. The hike traverses through long stretch of Coffee plantations paddy fields, villages & untouched and pure rain forests. The final stretch of the Nishani Betta of 1km is hard and a little rigorous. The ascend latitude is 60 degrees which make its difficult & a tricky hike. The monsoon raises the difficulty level, as the pathway gets filled with leeches and makes it difficult to climb. The pathway towards the end is very steep, almost vertical thus, adding a tinge of adventure to make it up to the crest. And there the view sweeps your feet off the ground.
Camping & Trekking: Rs 2600/ Person

"Stayed at the amazing Jungle Wood Resort in Coorg, literally in the middle of a Jungle. The house is a 200 year old house managed by a family who has been running this for years. The silence, peace and 'no phone service' makes you feel so connected to the nature. Highly recommended if you just wanna run away! Huge shoutout to @townista. This was my first #TownistaTrip. Brilliantly arranged and such a hassle free experience. Much recommended if you are planning your next trip."
"It really saved me time and effort. Had amazing time with my friends. Much needed break."
