About

Spread over 90 acres, Lodi Gardens (formerly the Lady Willingdon Park) is a hotspot for nature lovers and morning joggers. It accommodates the tombs of Muhammad Shah and Sikandar Lodi and the architectural works of the Lodis – Shisha Gumbad and Bara Gumbad. The Bara Gumbad (‘Big Dome’) is a gateway to a 3-domed mosque. Shisha Gumbad is named so for the use of glazed tiles in its construction, giving it a glass effect. The monuments have influences from both Hindu and Islamic style of structural design.
What To Look Out For: The quaint and calm neighbourhood of Lodi Gardens with a hint of vibrancy, apt for street photography

More than 300 Happy travellers

"Stayed at the amazing Jungle Wood Resort in Coorg, literally in the middle of a Jungle. The house is a 200 year old house managed by a family who has been running this for years. The silence, peace and 'no phone service' makes you feel so connected to the nature. Highly recommended if you just wanna run away! Huge shoutout to @townista. This was my first #TownistaTrip. Brilliantly arranged and such a hassle free experience. Much recommended if you are planning your next trip."
