About

One of the most visually enchanting places for birdwatchers. It also serves as a popular family getaway. It is a village where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a breath of fresh air. Being an awesome place to visit for the Kaggaladu Heronry, it also consists of dominant species of trees such as Tamarind, Indica and the Indian Banyan. This Sanctuary contains a rich diversity of floral species.

Fauna: Includes forests and animals like elephant, gaur, panther, jackal, fox, wild pig, sloth bear, sambar, spotted deer, yapping deer, normal langur, hat macaque, porcupine.

Best time to visit: Between the months of March and July.
