«A solar music, coloured and modern; Brilliant musicians; Complicity and pleasure»
Alliance Française de Bangalore and The Bangalore School of Music, with the support of the Institut Français and Indigo, present an unusual Jazz concert – Anne Paceo Yôkaï.
ANNE PACEO is only 28 years old and has an exceptional curse: drummer with Rhoda Scott, Henri Texier, China Moses or Mélissa Laveaux, she has already published two CD’s as a leader and played more than 130 concerts in 15 countries with her trio Triphase, was awarded the 'Django d'Or 2009' and 'Victoires du Jazz 2011”.
She recorded her third album YÔKAÏ with nine instruments she brought back from her travels all over the world, writing music from Rangoon to the Polar Circle, fitting in perfectly with the musicians she chose for this quintet.
Antonin-Tri Hoang is one of the inspired young French reed players. Pierre Perchaud seems to 'escape' easily with his guitar. Stéphane Kerecki on the double bass is already known to bring absolute precision. Leonardo Montana, also pianist in the trio is a very fine melodist.
