ABOUT THE GROUP: Indian blue

An explosive musical Alloy of Indian music and Blue Grass which makes your body move unstoppably as your soul dances with joy.

From catalyzing one of the world’s biggest open mikes for years to clearing weeds in palace gardens for staging rock shows, this eclectic duo has been there and played that, they’ve now come together to perform vibrant, infectious, joyful and intense music.

Gopal Navale
Mandolin, Guitar/Vocals/Flute
Founder of the Freedom Jam, Esperanto music project and Director of Guruskool is a prolific songwriter. His style is irreverently vernacular as his distinctly urban rock roots are overlaid with influences from carnatic music and a love for hip hop and poetry.

Jeetendra Rao
A guitar virtuoso and a member of one of the city’s earliest hard rock bands (Plumbum), he has done his time, played arenas and shred with the country’s top rock and blues bands (Crimson Storm, Aftermath, Chronic Blues & Millennium) apart from composing music for advertising and teaching music.
