About

Trek on a beach, rock climb next to the ocean and hear the water speak to you. Spend your next weekend next to the sea in peace and calm of the water.

Located 520kms from Bangalore, 238kms to Mangalore and 150kms from Goa it is a place where weekends can be spent doing beach trekking and bouldering on the shores where the mystical water and sand kiss the coastal line together in form of white waves. Gokarna is a con flux between the Sayadhris and the Arabian Sea with hillocks surrounding the beach. Trekking on the coastal line is a beautiful as well as a challenging experience because of the humid conditions at the shore. The beaches around and slopes are virgin which makes it an offbeat weekend destination from Bangalore.

More than 300 Happy travellers

"Stayed at the amazing Jungle Wood Resort in Coorg, literally in the middle of a Jungle. The house is a 200 year old house managed by a family who has been running this for years. The silence, peace and 'no phone service' makes you feel so connected to the nature. Highly recommended if you just wanna run away! Huge shoutout to @townista. This was my first #TownistaTrip. Brilliantly arranged and such a hassle free experience. Much recommended if you are planning your next trip."
