Fresh off his tour of France, Yuichiro Tokuda returns to Bangalore after 2 and a half years (he had a very successful India tour in May 2013 - and performed at BFlat with his band, RALYZZDIG). The band will play compositions by Yuichiro Tokuda, as well as Bangalore-based pianist Aman Mahajan. They will be ably accompanied by Jeoraj George on drums and Jayant Manchanda on upright bass.

Yuichiro Tokuda is a saxophonist, vocalist and composer. Having graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, Yuichiro returned to Japan and formed his band “Yuichiro Tokuda RALYZZDIG". He released his first album which was acclaimed as "the cutting edge of the present progressive form of jazz" in Jazz Life magazine. His original compositions have fetched him many awards in his homeland, Japan. Yuichiro has traveled extensively, having performed in Malaysia, China, Korea, Canada, Jordan. Aman Mahajan is a pianist and composer who mainly performs improvised music. Fortunate to have worked with a wide variety of musicians of diverse cultural backgrounds, Mahajan is influenced by jazz, folk, classical and electronic music from around the world, and deeply inspired by a sense of unity and connection. Graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2007, Mahajan is now based in India, where he leads jazz/world ensemble REFUGE, and has recently returned to Bangalore from a summer faculty position at the Global Music Institute, New Delhi. soundcloud.com/refuge_music
Jayant Manchanda is a bass player, composer and music educator based out of New Delhi. He is one of the regulars in the live session circuit and often is a first call bass player for a lot of bands in and around the Delhi music circuit, including "Kitchensink" and "J and the Giants" that he is bandleader of. He is currently a music instructor at Global Music Institute and One World College of Music
Jeoraj George trained at DrumTech, London. He returned to India in 2005 to teach and perform. He plays as a sessions musician and has performed with prominent artists like Amit Heri, Madhav Chari, Leslie Lewis, George Brooks, Keith Peters, Karl Peters and Holger Jetter and Dondieu Divin. Jeoraj also performs in various fusion projects with Indian Classical musicians like Sudha Raghunathan, Hariharan, Shashank, Embar Kannan, Ravichandra Kulur, Thiruvaroor Vaidyanathan, Trichur Mohan and Giridhar Udupa.
