The museum is a tribute to Mr. Framji Dadabhoy Alpaiwalla, a Parsi, who spent his entire life and earnings in collecting items in the 20th century as his hobby. Amazed and excited by the development and fast paced times, he usually collected items that reflected the changing ways of the world. He was so deeply engrossed in his passion for collecting objects that interested him, that he never realized that most of his earnings are spent on the same and his house too is completely occupied by those purchases from the dealers in antiquities. The highlights of his collections are the photographs which have captured the precious moments of older times. His collections are a reflection of the proud history of Parsis in Mumbai.More Info >>

"Stayed at the amazing Jungle Wood Resort in Coorg, literally in the middle of a Jungle. The house is a 200 year old house managed by a family who has been running this for years. The silence, peace and 'no phone service' makes you feel so connected to the nature. Highly recommended if you just wanna run away! Huge shoutout to @townista. This was my first #TownistaTrip. Brilliantly arranged and such a hassle free experience. Much recommended if you are planning your next trip."
