Expressive Movement therapy (EMT) is a form of dance therapy which uses the body’s natural movements to achieve a balance between emotional, cognitive, social and physical facets in individuals. Eventually, participants evolve a strong, personal movement language to enhance their holistic growth leading to healthier functioning.
Training course content: This intensive module offers theoretical frameworks and creative-healing movement activities from therapeutic dance. It also includes evolution, principles, goals, approaches and techniques of movement therapy used in group & individual work.
Alongside, students are also trained in facilitation skills, structuring of sessions, verbal processing and movement analysis.

"Stayed at the amazing Jungle Wood Resort in Coorg, literally in the middle of a Jungle. The house is a 200 year old house managed by a family who has been running this for years. The silence, peace and 'no phone service' makes you feel so connected to the nature. Highly recommended if you just wanna run away! Huge shoutout to @townista. This was my first #TownistaTrip. Brilliantly arranged and such a hassle free experience. Much recommended if you are planning your next trip."
