Learn about the lively performance theatre tradition of Yakshagana, including the rich costumes

Timings: For children aged 5-7 years, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon | For children aged 10-12 years, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Pre-visit: You will receive a pre-visit information kit once you register online* (details below). The email will feature an introduction to the theme of the workshop, what you can expect during the visit to the museum, and details of the family activity that needs to be “crafted” and bought to the venue on the day of the visit.
On the day of workshop: Kids go on a Treasure Hunt within the museum premises, followed by learning about the bright and colorful costumes of Yakshagana. Bonus: The workshop facilitator will guide kids to a fun activity that will focus on the costumes of our TV, Movie and Book-based superheroes (friendly neighborhood Spiderman and super-rich Batman) and creating your own Superhero costumes!
