In 2013, CounterCulture curated a first-of-its-kind showcase of independent Indian musicians over a five-weekend lineup of the country’s finest. In a continued bid to create a larger audience for live performance, the month also showcased alternative genres of independent art.

In 2014, the second edition of this showcase saw three weekends of curated events , which showcased a larger multi-artiste line-up each night.

This year, the third edition of Indie March will be held over four weekends, with new artists, production & sets. These are both men and women creating a niche for alternative sound in a landscape of sameness, and we’ll be spending the first quarter of the year celebrating them.

More than 300 Happy travellers

"Stayed at the amazing Jungle Wood Resort in Coorg, literally in the middle of a Jungle. The house is a 200 year old house managed by a family who has been running this for years. The silence, peace and 'no phone service' makes you feel so connected to the nature. Highly recommended if you just wanna run away! Huge shoutout to @townista. This was my first #TownistaTrip. Brilliantly arranged and such a hassle free experience. Much recommended if you are planning your next trip."
