About

According to popular legend, if you lose anything in Mumbai you can buy it back from the Chor Bazaar. The market has been mentioned in popular novels, including Rohinton Mistry's “Such a Long Journey”. In spite of this reputation, Chor Bazaar is known for primarily selling second-hand goods rather than stolen goods. The market is renowned for antique and vintage items. Various stores offer items like old Bollywood posters, authentic Victorian furniture, etc. Although bargains are sometimes confounding, it is considered mandatory.

More than 300 Happy travellers

"Stayed at the amazing Jungle Wood Resort in Coorg, literally in the middle of a Jungle. The house is a 200 year old house managed by a family who has been running this for years. The silence, peace and 'no phone service' makes you feel so connected to the nature. Highly recommended if you just wanna run away! Huge shoutout to @townista. This was my first #TownistaTrip. Brilliantly arranged and such a hassle free experience. Much recommended if you are planning your next trip."
