It's here again. The 11th edtion of Chitra Santhe, an annual art mela hosted by Karnataka Chitrakala Parishat, will be held on Sunday from 10am.

Kumara Krupa Road will come alive on Sunday morning with artists from 20 to 80 years of age from across the country will sell and display items like paintings, porcelain, sculptures and other objects related to art. One can also get on-the-spot portrait sketches done.

Chitra Santhe was thought of over a decade ago as a medium for bringing artists and art lovers from across the country on a single platform.

The idea behind the initiative is to drive home the importance of art as a medium in the lives of common man.
