About

A contemporary representation of Habib Tanvir's classic play, based on the translation by Anjum Katyal.
Directed by Arundhati Raja.

Charandas is a thief and a very lovable one. He is a thief who vows never to tell a lie. He also makes three other vows believing that he will never be tested on them. But life is not so easy and it takes him on a ride where he is constantly tempted to break each vow.

Join him on his journey where he meets many people who are not thieves, but how honest are they? Full of fun, laughter and some sadness too, the play is in English but - set in our city, English as we speak it in Namma Bengaluru.
