“If you cannot bear these stories then the society is unbearable. Who am I to remove the clothes of this society, which itself is naked. I don't even try to cover it, because it is not my job, that's the job of dressmakers.” - Saadat Hasan Manto.
Saadat Hasan Manto needs no introduction, nor his works. His stories were the sub-conscious voice of those who suffered the trauma of partition.
We are a little late but we shall be celebrating Manto's 104th birthday at Paradigm Shift by reading some of his works in Hindustani / Urdu and English. You're invited to join us and yes, bring your favorite stories written by Manto along to be read in the larger audience.

"Stayed at the amazing Jungle Wood Resort in Coorg, literally in the middle of a Jungle. The house is a 200 year old house managed by a family who has been running this for years. The silence, peace and 'no phone service' makes you feel so connected to the nature. Highly recommended if you just wanna run away! Huge shoutout to @townista. This was my first #TownistaTrip. Brilliantly arranged and such a hassle free experience. Much recommended if you are planning your next trip."
"It really saved me time and effort. Had amazing time with my friends. Much needed break."
