Allamana Bayalata is a play on the life history of Allama Prabhu. 'Allama' is a prominent mystic saint (Vachanakar) in 12th century who is a contemporary of ''Basavanna''. He is a person who is born in Natavar (Dancers with Prostitution) family and he comes across a lot of bad experiences in his childhood. These experiences turn his thoughts philosophical and his journey with his life takes him more closer to truth. 'Nagajja', Allama's guru, 'Gowri' his wife and Pimpala his second wife play a vital role in his journey. He tries to dissect all the loop holes of the society and tries to show the hard truth to everyone with his bold and daring behavior. He is the person beyond all religion, caste n creed.
